Once in a while, we all love that small traditional touch! When we attend weddings, Dipti loves to apply sindoor along the parting of her hair. It is worn in our culture to signify a women is married. It’s a long lived tradition that looks beautiful and classic. Instead of using a red powder (which is common), she uses a red liquid bindi (also knows as kumkum). The liquid is easier to apply and take off without leaving a stain. You can usually find this in your local Indian grocery or clothing store.

We found it here and here.
