Nina’s home, as she likes to call her style, is transitional, romantic and whimsical. She loves Home Goods and as such she is still piecing her home together as she finds things that she loves. The kids’ playroom is all about comfort and inspiration so she chose to keep a large sectional in there for the kids to read and lounge on. The floors have a fancy mat to help curb the “ouches” from falls.
Everything in her home is pretty kid friendly, which is another reason why she loves Home Goods! Above and below are glimpses of her family room. She loves putting family pictures up as you can see from her family room wall and she does it so well! The girls love looking at baby pictures of themselves and pictures of Nylo too!
Her dream project was renovating her kitchen and she loved every minute of it (several of thousands of minutes!). She wanted to do something unique and grand so the renovation was a big part of her home project. The finished kitchen is a show stopper in her home – everyone adores it and loves to hang out in there even if they’re not eating or cooking! She chose a white and blue/gray theme and kept the rest pretty simple. Splashes of color are throughout, mainly with flowers and the kids toys!
Her dining room was inspired by her several trips to Paris, as she loves the city, culture and style there. She found an inspiration picture from Pinterest and then went looking for deals to get her to her final look, which you see below.
Being obsessed with lights and chandeliers, she hung this beauty she found on Gilt in her master bedroom!
The girls rooms are pretty basic. Their names hang above their bed, each with a chair and dresser. Thats it! Nice and simple. She knew that the girls would eventually want to make their rooms their own so she didn’t want to go overboard with cluttering it with too much stuff! The girls love their rooms and now that Naya can read, she loves seeing her name above her bed!
Knowing her obsession with elephants, you will find them throughout her home. Mommy Vaid always told us that you should buy elephants in sets, never alone, so most of the ones she has are in sets of two!
