The Vest – by TriVa

We are so incredibly excited to share our newest venture with you all! The sisters of RAR have gone rogue and are starting our own, custom line of South Asian inspired accessories!  We had been toying with the idea of starting our own line for years now and our inspiration always came from our trips to India where we would always find the most amazing fabrics and designs and would think up a million ways to design them! We just weren’t sure about the reception of it here, on the other side of the world.  But starting this blog and sharing all of our ideas with you all and the love and support you have shown us made us realize that it was about time we got this started!

The first on our long list of items you’ll see in our line is this gorgeous vest!  True to this blog and what you’ve witnessed thus far from us, we wanted to make our line easily transformable between South Asian and Western wear.  This vest is the perfect example of just that.  The choice in fabric remains South Asian inspired while the design and quality of the vest is able to be worn with any genre of outfits! Nina started this vest off by putting it over a sari – making sure to tie in one of the various colors of the vest with the sari. However, the best part about this vest is that you can pair it with a similar color or go completely different and pair it with white or black to make the fabric pop even more!

We can’t express enough that there is no item in our line that can’t be worn with both Indian and Western clothes! Nina took this vest and put it over a pair of jeans and a black long sleeve top – the essentials almost every girl has in her wardrobe! The vest adds so much life to an otherwise monotone outfit. Check out Nina’s pictures below! Of course in true RAR fashion, she had to add the heels 😉

We hope you liked this sneak peak of our newest venture! Stay with us for more information on the launch of the entire accessories line in January of 2015! For inquiries about the items you see on this post, please e-mail us:
