Spring it Up!

 Meet Marissa Pascone!

Marissa is a professional make-up artist and a very dear friend of ours.  She works with MAC and is a specialist in our ever so eclectic South Asian skin-tone.  Marissa is a Runways and Rattles guest-blogger and is excited to share all of her beauty secrets with you!  We couldn’t be more excited!  And what better way to launch her than with a fresh and chic Spring look!

Ladies, put your snow boots away and lets get ready for SPRING! With the excitement of the leaves coming back and the sun beaming on your face, why not fit the part? The look for this Spring is “sun kissed.” Looking fresh and crisp but at the same time golden with a glow. Sometimes less is better and with that in mind, check out the essentials you’ll need for this season!  I did this look on Sheena and it’s just perfect for the highly anticipated upcoming months! FACE: NARS Barcelona foundation in Medium 4 with a touch of NYX Face Illuminator Sun Beam

CHEEKS: Bronzer in Tropics by Hard Candy cosmetics with a touch of Mac – Peachy Keen Blush on the apples of the cheeks.

EYES:  MAC – Expensive Pink on the lower lid with MAC- Bronze and MAC- Swiss Chocolate in the crease. MAC – Black Track Fluidline was applied very thin and close to the lash line and in the inner upper lash line to give the appearance of a heavier lash.  To complete this beautiful look, I applied MAC – ‘Haute & Naughty Mascara.

LIPS: I mixed MAC – Hover and MAC- Lure lip pencils to create the perfect outline for MAC – Vegas Volt lipstick and MAC – Pink Lemonade gloss.

NOTE: This time of the year your skin can seem extremely dry and tight.  Spray MAC – Fix Plus 10-12 inches away from your face before OR after your makeup is complete for a refreshing look and feel!
