We are slightly obsessed with these pretty little white flowers known as jasmine or “gajra.” Traditionally, these flowers are used to make garlands, which women in South Asia wear during cultural festivities. They also smell like heaven, so if we happen to get our hands on some we’ll leave them in our cars too! One of our favorite things about South Indian weddings is that the families will pass gajra around to all the guests to add it to their hair. Naturally, the three of us grab as many as we can and get busy trying to style it differently! Today we are sharing some of our favorite ways to wear gajra.
