You all know how much we love this cape! It all started with Dipti’s baby shower where she wanted to take the attention off her growing baby bump (even though she loved it). Sheena then rocked the cape with jeans for a casual night out which was a super hit. Dipti recently came upon the cape again and decided she hadn’t had enough of it just yet.
Dipti stole this sari from her gorgeous cousin, Mita, who had worn it in Florida at a family wedding. Dipti couldn’t get over how stunning she looked in it and the vibrant color just made her fall head over heals. The sari is completely plain in the middle and has a white pearl border – Dipti’s favorite style – simple, classy, and elegant. Because the sari was mostly plain, it was the perfect style to add a little fashion risk. She grabbed the cape and threw it over the sari to make it a eye catcher. At first she didn’t love the long length of the cape (it was a perfect accommodation for her baby bump) but she didn’t want to miss the opportunity to wear it again so she did it anyway!
If you know Dipti, you know her love for nose rings – and of course she’s the only one of the three of us who doesn’t have her nose pierced! She was totally inspired by Bajirao Mastani and bought this gorgeous large hoop nose ring and added it to her wedding look. She did her hair in beach curls, added a choker necklace and large stud earrings to complete the look and kept her makeup neutral. What do you think of this number??
