This holiday season we are gearing up for the laundry list of holiday parties we have to attend between the three of us. A couple are fancy and a bunch are causal. In this freezing cold, we are all in the mindset of being warm and comfortable. With that being said, the three of us also love to glam up a little when the occasion arises. We are sharing our go-to holiday looks in the dressy and casual families. These looks are sure to be fits for whatever the event will be.
Sheena
1) Gold Sequences Mini Skirt
This sparkly skirt is something that will make a statement at any holiday party. Sheena loves a bold piece with everything else subtle. She pairs this skirt with a simple black mock neck sweater and black pumps. For the freezing cold evenings, you can even add some tights under.
Red = Holiday Attire! Isn’t that the mantra, always? What better time of the year that now to wear the flashy and stunning color, red? Sheena loves a perfectly fitted jumpsuit that makes a statement. She loves the back cutout of this one especially because this jumpsuit is so A line and simple. She would add black sandals to complete the look.
Sheena has been crushing on the velvet trend this year. She has bought several mini and midi length dresses, other bottoms and tops in velvet (another reference below). She loves this midi length BCBG dress that has the perfect halter cut on top. A huge plus is that is has pockets!! Woot! She pairs this one with short sock booties and a leather jacket to wear outside!
As you can tell, Sheena loves dresses! Another favorite for the holiday season is this comfy off the shoulder balloon sweater dress (ps. its 50% off right now!). She pairs this with another favorite trend of the year, over the knee boots, which keep her warm outdoors and look super cute. She has found these boots in three different price ranges and has tried them all. Either way, they are all on point. (high end, mid range, affordable)
Here is it again! It is velvet everything this holiday season for Sheena. She loves there leggings and the fact that they are super comfortable. She pairs these with an oversized sweater (in burgundy because she is currently obsessed with that color) and short booties or high top sneakers to wear to a casual holiday party.
Pearl embellished anything is so pretty, sweaters, scarves, shoes, jeans, bags, jackets, etc. Sheena got these pretty pearl embellished skinny jeans and pairs them with a back twist cream color sweater. It is simple and classy and she loves that it is casual but dressy! Perfection for the holidays!
Nina
For Neal’s company holiday party, Nina is debating wearing this stunner! Yes it is quite bold, but none-the-less it is sure to turn a few heads. Let’s be honest, she will be relying heavily on her Spanx, but isn’t that what they are for :). Also, with the Friends and Family – she scored this dress for $70!!!
This is a look Nina just wore to her bestie’s baby shower. She is totally thinking of rocking this for her company holiday party which again is more formal but still a hint of casual. The whole outfit for under $55!!!! This is the perfect combo! Pair it with some black booties and a nice tiered necklace and off you go!
This pearly tank is the perfect top to put under a blazer and jeans, on top of a pencil skirt, or even as an overlay on a simple black dress. It is so glam but not so over the top that you feel out of place. It is a little pricey, but with a discount code you can get it under $50! Nina got this top in black to wear with some dark jeans and a black tank. She is inspired to try and combine it with her Indian wardrobe!!!!
Cute little number by Target! Simple and trendy all in one. With a cute little clutch, you cant go wrong with this romper. Dress it up with these awesome colorful heels or down with Adidas Superstars! For $33 this is definitely a steal!
Dipti
1) Polka Dot Jumpsuit
Dipti loves this jumpsuit for the holidays. It’s perfectly casual but also has that classy factor. Throw on a cute pair of booties and a gold metallic belt and you’re ready to rock and roll.
2) Chi Chi London High Neck Lace Dress with Tulle Skirt
This is Dipti‘s look for the holidays this year! She has been obsessing over tulle lately and finally decided to take the plunge and get herself a black tulle skirt. The best thing about the skirt is that you can wear it super fancy like this dress with a lace top and some heels, or you can go casual with sneakers!
3) Burgundy Pleated Skirt
Love love love this skirt! Initially Dipti wanted an emerald green pleated skirt but of course, it sold out within seconds at Zara so she moved on. She always is looking for holiday outfits that are going to translate later in the season and this burgundy skirt is just that! This is perfect with a black lace top and later in the Spring throw on a white shirt and denim jacket over it!
Yes, if you’re going to say, “who isn’t wearing that?” You’re completely right, and for good reason! Pearl embellishments are all the hype right now and you have to get on board! Pair this with a cute skirt to make it fancy or layer it with a button down and a faded pair of jeans and you’ve got yourself a holiday ready outfit.
A turtle neck and mesh? Can this top be any more perfect for the holidays? Love the look with a cute a-line skirt or even with some faux leather jeans! Add these block heels and you can’t go wrong!
