Sometimes it’s just about the necklace. You can literally throw on a t-shirt dress and some leggings or printed pants and make it all about the bling. We have loved jewelry our whole lives (not that we had much of a choice) so when we spot something fab, whether we need it or not, we have to have it. Dipti fell in love with this fringe bib necklace she saw at Charming Charlie ages ago and bought it without any need for it at all – in fact she was pregnant when she bought it so there was no way she was wearing it any time soon. Nina recently started going through a phase of keeping it simple with her tops but going heavy on the neck pieces. Combine the two sisters and you get this perfect look – of course sported by the third sister! And since fringe anything and everything is the craze these days, why not sport the look with this piece!
The secret to this look is to keep the top as simple as possible. For this necklace we knew only a white or black top would do. White would still keep it somewhat casual while black would take it to a whole new level! We, of course, found this perfectly simple white collared dress shirt at Forever21 – a place we go to for our quick buys that we know are going to be a 1-2 time wear. The pants Sheena got from Anthropologie a few seasons ago and Dipti bought the necklace from Charming Charlie (similar here and here).
