Dipti always loves to do fun and different things! For one of her wedding events our Mom suggested floral accessories for her Pithi! This is a pre-wedding event that is celebrated in our culture where your friends and family rub haldi (tumeric) all over your face, arms and legs to “beautify” you for the wedding day. She decided to go with a necklace made of small fresh flowers (traditionally with moogra/jasmine flowers) with matching earrings, bracelets and head piece! So pretty right? It’s also very easy to do on your own! Just string the small flowers on a needle and thread (try using a thicker thread) and tie at the ends when you put it on. So simple and so beautiful!
