With wedding season in full gear now, Sheena thought she would try a little DIY project to give brides some ideas on what to have their bridesmaids hold while walking down the aisle. Of course, for Sheena, adding a little *bling* is completely necessary to any bridal DIY. She bought a stone candle holder and some strands of pear shaped beads in a smokey color. Put those together and wah-la – a stunning candle holder that will shine across the room when the bridesmaids walk down the aisle. Take a look at our step by step tutorial on how to make these stunners! What unique things did your bridesmaids walk down the aisle with?
Tutorial
{Start with the candle holder, beads, candle, double-sided tape, scissors and twist ties}
- Cut small piece of double-sided tape and stick to the bottom of the tea-light candle holder
- Cut twisty tie into 4 small pieces, loop the twisty tie into the loop of the string of beads and loop into the crystal candle holder. Tie twist and secure. Repeat for each strand of beads around the holder. (You can use more than 4 strands). We spaced the beads into a semi-circle on the holder, fastening the beads to the holder every 4 crystals.
- Stick the tea-light candle holder onto the base of the crystal candle holder.
